SDG Translations was founded in 2000 and combines extensive translation practice with hands-on experience in marketing and market research. We are a working group consisting of several translators and revisers.

Silvia Geissbauer BA Dip Trans IoL MITI

Silvia Geissbauer holds a degree in Business Studies from Germany and a post-graduate Diploma in Translation from the UK (Institute of Linguists). She has a professional background in marketing and market research, having lived and worked in France, the Philippines, Germany and the UK. Before founding SDG Translations Silvia spent over 10 years working for a number of renowned institutions, including the United Nations Association, Nielsen Market Research, Oxford University and People & Planet, where she was involved in a variety of international projects. Silvia is a full member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) - the leading professional body for translators in the UK.
