About us

SDG Translations was founded in 2000 and combines extensive translation practice with hands-on experience in marketing and market research. We are a working group consisting of several translators and revisors.

Silvia Geissbauer

Silvia Geissbauer has a degree in Business Studies from Germany and a post-graduate Diploma in Translation (IoL, UK). She has a professional background in marketing and market research and has lived and worked in France, the Philippines, Germany und the UK. Silvia spent over 12 years of her working life in England where she was employed by a number of renowned institutions, including the United Nations Association, Nielsen Market Research and Oxford University, and involved in a variety of international projects. In 2000 Silvia founded SDG Translations. She is a full member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) - the leading professional institute for translators in the UK.
